What we collect

When you request a quote, the form asks for your name, phone number, email address and postcode, the services you are interested in, and an optional description of your project. If you email or phone us, we receive whatever details you choose to share.

Like most websites, this site also collects general usage information, such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, your approximate location and how you found us. This is gathered by Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags, loaded through Google Tag Manager, which use cookies.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote.
• To plan, permit, build and support your project if you go ahead.
• To understand how people use the website and to measure and improve our advertising.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with the service providers that run this website and our business, such as Cloudflare (website hosting and delivery of quote-form emails) and Google (analytics and advertising measurement), or where the law requires us to.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also control Google's advertising personalisation through Google's Ad Settings and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The quote form and phone number work without cookies.

Storage and security

Quote requests are delivered by email to our business inbox over encrypted connections. We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to quote, build and support your project, and to meet our record-keeping obligations.

Access, correction and questions

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email ben@btbuilt.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
